This is an exciting opportunity to join our client’s team as a Junior CAD Draughtsman.

This role is ideal for a recentengineeringgraduate looking for their firstengineeringrole, or an engineeringgraduate with a couple of years’ experience.

As a Junior CAD Draughtsman, your duties will be:

• Designing and creating 2D drawings and 3D models using Autodesk Inventor.
• Aiding the manufacturing of parts by creating CAD models from existing drawings.
• Liaising with Engineers and Production to ensure that correct techniques are implemented through all design stages of production.
• Developing equipment and tooling for both existing and new products.
• Ensuring documentation for calculations, limitations and work instructions are kept accurately throughout the design process.

To be a successful Junior CAD Draughtsman you will have/be:

• A degree or HNC equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
• Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD experience and be computer literate with MS Office.
• The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
• Knowledge of geometric dimensions and tolerances.
• Strong communication skills
