We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Desktop Support Engineer / IT Technician to join a blue-chip organisation in London on an initial 12 month contract with likely extensions
**Umbrella contractors only as role is Inside IR35**
ServiceNow experience Iphone Support Mac Support Windows Support
- Working technical knowledge of standard (Windows) operating systems to allow for resolution of software application issues or full rebuild of the PC (image, applications & client data) - Working technical knowledge in order to address service work orders for PCs, laptops, printers (including packaging printers), cabling, televisions, projectors, phones, SIM cards, peripherals (e.g. keyboards or mice) - Proficiency with LAN/WAN troubleshooting - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Ability to apply an intermediate level of subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of common IT and business issues - Work on problems/projects of moderately medium-complex scope - Exercise independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action - Evaluate unique circumstances and makes recommendations - Minimum and current of 28 months of Desk side Support - Ability to provide disposal services (including decommissioning, packaging, transporting and physical disposal or recycling as required) - Hands and eyes server support - Ability to perform root cause analysis and determine appropriate course of action based on result - Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities with the warranty or maintenance provider - Manage the logistics support process which covers the receiving and storing of purchased inventory - Experience with updating h/w in Asset Management tools and software.
12 month rolling contract.
