We’re proud to be representing A World Leader in the POP and POS Industry, a fast-growing player in the POS/POP display industry, in the search for a Junior Development Engineer to join their expanding team in Leicester.

Reporting to the Head of Development, you will be responsible for supporting the creation of practical and cost-effective development solutions that align with client requirements and manufacturing capabilities—whether in-house or outsourced.

This is an office-based role with light physical requirements, perfect for a technically-minded individual looking to grow within a fast-paced and forward-thinking environment.

• Develop engineering solutions that support client design and technical briefs

• Create cost-effective, manufacture-friendly concepts for both in-house and external production

• Conduct site surveys as required

• Work closely with design, production, and client service teams to ensure project alignment

• Contribute to a collaborative, commercially aware, and honest team culture

• Raise any issues or obstacles with line management to ensure smooth project delivery

• Experience in a similar engineering or product development role (POS/POP industry desirable)

• Strong working knowledge of SolidWorks

• Excellent communication skills—written and verbal

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail

• Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines

• Good interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset

• IT proficiency including MS Office

• Methodical, precise, and able to keep accurate documentation and reports

• Solid numeracy skills and a solution-focused mindset
