Junior Electrical Design Engineer

Role- Junior Electrical Design Engineer

Salary- £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience, please advise)

Type- Permanent

Location- Somerset

My client work within engineering and they are looking to take on a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to develop as part of their team.

The Junior / Electrical Design Engineer role will ideally have the following attributes:

NVQ/ HNC/ HND/ Degree qualification or similar ideally in Electrical Engineering
Have knowledge of how to carry out electrical design
Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks Electrical (but training can be given)
Excellent problem-solving capabilities
Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
Have excellent communication skills both verbal and writtenThe Junior / Electrical Design Engineer role will involve:

Working within the existing engineering team
Developing electrical schematics and also transferring legacy schematics and creating the parts lists
Using CAD to create new components and cable types
Creating the associated BOM’s
