We're looking for an ambitious Junior Electrical Engineer to join a rapidly growing engineering business delivering projects across the UK's rail network.
This role has been designed specifically for someone at the start of their engineering career. You don't need years of experience. You need the right attitude, a solid electrical foundation, and the desire to learn.
In return, you'll receive structured training and mentoring from experienced engineers, allowing you to develop into a specialist Field Service Engineer within the Rail & HVAC sector.

What You'll Be Doing
Assisting with the installation, commissioning and testing of equipment Supporting planned and reactive maintenance activities Diagnosing electrical faults alongside experienced engineers Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics Travelling to customer sites throughout the UK Developing your knowledge of HVAC, controls and rail systems Building the skills required to become a fully qualified Field Service Engineer
What We're Looking For
Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation, Mechatronics or similar Basic understanding of electrical systems and fault finding principles Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics Full UK driving licence Willingness to travel and stay away occasionally Eagerness to learn and develop a long term engineering career
Ideal But Not Essential
Knowledge of 3 phase systems Exposure to control panels or PLCs Previous hands on electrical experience through college, apprenticeship or work placement
