Junior Employment Solicitor

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Junior Employment Solicitor (NQ–1 Year PQE) to join a small, dynamic and forward-thinking legal practice based in Cheadle Hulme, Stockport.

This is an ideal opportunity for a newly qualified or junior Employment Solicitor looking to develop their career within a supportive environment, with significant client exposure and hands-on experience from day one.

You will work closely with experienced lawyers and benefit from direct one-to-one training from a City-trained solicitor.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising clients on a range of employment law matters.
• Assisting with both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
• Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision and support.
• Drafting correspondence, contracts, settlement agreements and other legal documentation.
• Conducting legal research and providing clear, commercially focused advice.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Working towards practical and commercial solutions for clients.
• Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Supporting the wider team as required.

About You

The successful candidate will be an NQ to 1-year PQE Employment Solicitor who is keen to develop their expertise and build a long-term career in employment law.

• A qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales.
• Experience or a strong interest in Employment Law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
