My client is an established engineering services provider, delivering high-quality mechanical and hydraulic solutions across a variety of industrial sectors. The Role

As a Junior Mechanical Engineer, you'll assist in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hydraulic and mechanical systems. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers on both in-house and site-based projects, gaining valuable industry experience and training.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the design, installation, and testing of hydraulic and mechanical systems
• Perform scheduled maintenance and safety inspections
• Troubleshoot hydraulic systems and support mechanical repairs
• Work with senior engineers on client-site projects and in the workshop
• Maintain clear documentation and service records
• Adhere to all health and safety standards and company procedures

You must have -

• 1–2 years’ experience in a mechanical or hydraulic engineering environment (including internships or placement years)
• Understanding of hydraulic systems and schematics are advantageous but not essential.
• Hands-on mechanical experience is essential.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• UK Driving Licence (required for site visits)
• Hunger to learn and develop through extensive training.
