Role Overview

We are looking to recruit a Junior ERP Engineer to support the current Epicor Manager in the day-to-day maintenance, administration, and operation of the Epicor ERP system and our internally developed system, KIPP.

This role would suit someone with basic IT skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and an interest in developing specialist knowledge of ERP systems and business processes. Full training and support will be provided to help the successful candidate develop their technical skills and understanding of the systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in investigating and resolving issues related to Epicor and KIPP.


• Develop a thorough understanding of the Epicor order and job lifecycle, including the key processes and workflows.


• Work closely with all Kentec departments to support their day-to-day use of Epicor and KIPP.


• Create and maintain work instructions, user guides, and technical reference documentation for KIPP.


• Set up and maintain user accounts in Epicor and KIPP.


• Carry out daily and weekly Epicor administration and maintenance tasks.


• Perform occasional bulk updates in Epicor using Excel spreadsheets.


• Assist with system testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities as required.

Essential experience and skills

• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.


• Strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach to investigating issues.


• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across different departments.


• A willingness to learn new systems, develop technical knowledge, and understand business processes.


• Good attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures accurately.

Desirable skills and experience

• An interest in ERP systems, databases, or business applications.


• Basic knowledge of Excel data manipulation, such as filtering, sorting, and working with spreadsheets.


• Previous experience in an IT support, application support, or administrative role.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career in ERP systems and business application support, working closely with the Epicor Manager and gaining hands-on experience with both Epicor and KIPP.

• Working hours: Monday-Thursday: 08:30-17:00, Friday: 08:30-16:00
