We are looking for a junior estimating engineer to join our team in Doncaster.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Piling Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing competitive and accurate cost estimates for a range of piling and deep foundation projects across the UK, ensuring all tenders meet the highest standards of compliance, accuracy, and profitability. As the Junior Estimator you will have the chance to work on major commercial projects from rail to infrastructure.

Your main responsibilities will include reviewing tender documents such as drawings, technical specifications, and ground investigation reports. You will be expected to produce accurate cost estimates for different piling methods, including CFA, rotary bored, contiguous, secant, and driven piles. You will also be visiting sites to assess ground conditions and identify any potential challenges or restrictions that may affect the project.

We are looking for somebody that meets the following criteria:

• At least 18 months experience in Estimating
• Civil engineering degree (desirable)
• Holds a full UK driving licence
• Experience with a ground engineering company
• Confident using estimating software and Excel
• Must live within a commutable distance from the Doncaster office.
