Junior Estimator/Estimator

FJA are recruiting on behalf of a UK-based company specialising in building and construction services for an experienced Junior Estimator/Estimator.

Junior Estimator/Estimatorresponsibilities:

• Supporting the estimating team in producing high-quality, accurate estimates.
• Pricing from first principles and comparing subcontractor quotes, presented in a clear, logical, and analytical format for both new build and refurbishment projects.
• Preparing tender packages, obtaining subcontractor quotations, completing accurate take-offs, and producing detailed pricing breakdowns.
• Use Conquest Estimating Software as part of the estimating process (training provided if required).
• Attending Tender Handover meetings with the Pre-Construction Director to the Commercial/Site Team.
• Production of site files for successful tenders and issuing to the Site Team.
• General administration duties within the estimating department.
• You are required to work as part of a team to complete work-related tasks to ensure the smooth running of the projects and the business.
• You are required to attend training courses as appropriate.

Junior Estimator/Estimatorrequirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in a contracting environment
