Are you a Junior Maintenance/Service Engineer with a Mechanical background, looking for a field based role and the opportunity to kickstart your career in a close-knit but highly successful family business?

Do you want to be fully supported by senior engineers through 1-on-1 training in a workshop environment, with the goal of progressing your career and becoming a fully autonomous Field Service Engineer?

Established over 20 years ago, this company specialises in manufacturing pumps and has seen steady growth over the past few years, due to their great, personalised service. Currently, they have 4 staff and are ready to train up a new junior member of the team. They work with a variety of clients across the UK and have plans for continued expansion in the coming months.

In this role you will be building, installing and servicing pumps as part of a small engineering team and visiting client sites across the UK. There's a 50:50 split of workshop and field work, with regular overnight stays. Full training will be provided on their specialist equipment, with the goal of you becoming a fully autonomous field-based Engineer.

This role would suit a Maintenance or Service engineer looking for a majority field-based role from a Mechanical background looking for 1-on-1 training in a small, family run business.

The Role:

• Installing and repairing pumps at the onsite workshop
• Provide high quality service to clients around the UK
• Working on specialist pumps for oil, gas and chemical transmission
• Full training provided on the engineering systems in the company
• Working away from home with frequent overnight stays

The Person:

• Junior Maintenance or Service Engineer
• Mechanical knowledge
• Full UK Driving License
