Location: Birmingham, Hybrid - 3 Days Office / 2 Days WFH
Salary: £26,000 per annum
Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday (35 hours/week including 1-hour lunch)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Start: ASAP

We're working with a longstanding client to recruit a Junior Finance Assistant to join their growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting out in their finance career. Whether you're fresh out of college, a recent graduate, or making a career switch into finance.

You'll play a key part in supporting the finance function, helping manage day-to-day transactions across multiple entities, bank accounts, and currencies. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn and build a strong foundational skill set in finance and accounting.

• Raising and issuing sales invoices across various business entities.

• Processing bank transactions - covering 30+ accounts across multiple currencies and entities.

• Managing bank charges and supporting intercompany transfers between accounts.

• Administering and reconciling company credit cards - including matching receipts, splitting costs, and posting transactions.

• Supporting month-end journal entries.

• Assisting with ad hoc spreadsheet-based reporting.

• Training will be provided.

• A keen interest in finance and accounting.

• Ideally studying towards or planning to start an AAT qualification.

• Confident working independently and managing your own tasks.

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
