Key Responsibilities

• Act as a key Finance point of contact for stakeholders within the local business and the wider Bunzl group.
• Support decision-making by providing commercial insights and analysis to drive performance.
• Lead the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency while maintaining high customer service standards.
• Manage cash flow reporting, including forecasting, payments, and approvals.
• Provide financial analysis for capital expenditure requests and business projects.
• Support the preparation of management accounts and internal/external financial reporting.
• Oversee inventory reporting, including stock provisions and count reviews.
• Review tax treatment queries and submissions, including R&D credits, CIS, Reverse Charge & IR35 compliance.
• Collaborate with auditors (internal and external) to ensure compliance and address control weaknesses.
• Maintain a strong financial control environment and ensure ongoing process improvements.

Skills & Experience Required

• Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent experience.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in a finance business partnering role.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive commercial decision-making.
• Strong analytical skills and adaptability.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
