The Role: Junior Fund Accountant

The Client: Investment Management (Venture Capital)

The Location: London City Centre

A great opportunity to join a team of 5 Fund Accountants all reporting to the Chief Operating Officer. Looking for a bright individual to join the team with great progression on offer for the successful candidate.

The Role:

• Maintenance of accounting records including income / invoice received and processing payments, both in-house and third party administrators.
• Assist with preparation of Management Accounts & Statuary Reporting
• Oversight of Cashbooks for each VCT for each bank account and Fund Investment.
• Review of NAV calculations provided by outsourced administrators
• Assist the Senior Fund Accountants & Fund Controllers with Statutory reporting, half yearly & full year financial statements

Prior Experience:

• Experience in a similar role with exposure to Fund Accounting is desirable
• Prior experience within Financial Services / Investment space
• Experience with bookkeeping, Accounts Payable, Account Preparation and month end procedures
• Part Qualified (ACCA / CIMA)
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience using Xero
