Are you organised, personable and looking to build a career within the print industry?

I’m recruiting for an established print management company based in Sutton Coldfield, who are looking for a Junior Internal Sales Administrator to join their team.

This is a great opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who wants more than just an admin job. You’ll work closely with the sales and operations team, gaining hands-on experience across customer service, quotations, suppliers and print production, with a structured progression route into a Print Account Executive position.

The role

You’ll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of customer projects, including:

Answering incoming customer calls professionally
Inputting customer enquiries and supplier quotations
Obtaining competitive quotes from suppliers
Comparing pricing, lead times and specifications
Placing work with suppliers
Progress chasing live jobs through production
Handling customer queries and Proofs of Delivery
Supporting the company diary and general administration
Researching potential new suppliers and helping to expand the supplier network
Ensuring quotations and customer requests are dealt with promptlyThe company manages print projects through a nationwide supplier network, so you’ll quickly gain exposure to different suppliers, processes and customer requirements.

About you

You don’t necessarily need years of print experience. We’re looking for someone who is:

Bright, organised and keen to learn
Confident speaking with customers and suppliers
Comfortable working with numbers and comparing quotations
Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Proactive and happy to pick up the phone
Detail-focused and reliable
Looking for a genuine career rather than simply their next jobPrevious experience within print, customer service, sales administration, estimating or a commercial office environment would be beneficial, but attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.

What’s on offer?

£25,000 basic salary
Monday to Friday – 5 days on site in Sutton Coldfield
