Junior IT Asset Coordinator (Stoke)

Job Description

Who we are looking for
A Junior IT Asset Coordinator who will maintain the storage locations for our end user equipment.

Working within the wider IT asset team, you will be responsible for ensuring all End User Technology (EUT) IT assets are stored in the correct locations and accounted for within our IT systems.

As part of our joiners, movers and leavers processes, you will ensure all equipment is correctly tracked at the point of issue and when returned, by updating relevant systems accurately.

You will undertake both daily and weekly stock checks, alongside monitoring the movement of equipment between multiple locations.

Working with various IT service teams across the Business, you will ensure IT asset management processes for EUT are followed, ensuring that all assets are correctly tracked.

This role will involve regular travel to our site in Manchester to perform the same duties.

Preferred skills and experience
Stock management experience, ideally within an IT asset management capacity.
Strong planning and monitoring skills.
Good communication and a team player with a smart thinking, can do attitude.
Self-starter, with the ability to work alone with minimal supervision, who takes personal responsibility for tasks.
Strong attention to detail, whilst taking ownership of Company equipment.

Main Responsibilities
Receiving, moving and storing EUT assets within the office.
Tagging and booking assets on all relevant systems.
Managing stock levels, alongside conducting the required stock counts.
Assisting colleagues in multiple locations to ensure the same processes are followed.
Grading of returned IT equipment to determine if they can be reused.
Assisting with the process of asset disposal.
Organising storage, equipment stock quantities and movements to the other locations.
