Junior Land Surveyor

The Role

We are currently looking to appoint a Junior Land Surveyor to join a growing surveying team supporting projects. This role would suit someone at the early stage of their surveying career who is keen to gain hands\-on site experience and develop technical skills within land and topographical surveying.

Full training and support will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for a graduate, trainee or assistant surveyor looking to progress.

• Assisting with land and topographical surveys across a range of sites
  


• Supporting senior surveyors with site measurements and data capture
  


• Using survey equipment such as Total Stations and GPS/GNSS
  


• Downloading and assisting with processing survey data
  


• Supporting the production of survey drawings using CAD software
  


• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with company H&S procedures
  


• Working closely with engineers, surveyors and project teams
  

Requirements

About You

• Some exposure to land or topographical surveying (graduate, trainee or assistant level considered)
  


• Keen to learn and develop surveying and technical skills
  


• Basic understanding of survey equipment and site working practices
  


• Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
  


• Full UK driving licence (or working towards)
  

• Background or qualification in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or a related field (desirable but not essential)
  


• Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD (advantageous)
  


• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  


• Comfortable working on site in varying environments
