Job Description - Junior Legal Cashier

Junior Legal Cashier
Northampton
£25,000 per annum
Hours – 37.5 Monday – Friday

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Cashier to join our client’s team in Northampton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop their career in legal finance within a supportive and friendly environment.

Duties

Managing day-to-day financial transactions, including client accounts and office expenses.
Processing invoices, payments, and reconciliations accurately and on time.
Maintaining compliance with legal accounting procedures and regulations.
Preparing reports for management as required.
Supporting the wider finance team with administrative tasks.

The Candidate

Ideally, some experience as a Legal Cashier or working in legal finance.
Familiarity with Quill Pinpoint, Microsoft Outlook, and Excel.
Understanding of the duties of a Legal Cashier and the legal finance process.
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
