Junior Manufacturing Engineer

Junior Manufacturing Engineer required. Our client is a well-established and growing metal fabricator based in Newmarket. Due to ongoing success, they are seeking a Junior Manufacturing Engineer to assist with the creation and modification of programmes for CNC fabrication machinery.

• Creating programmes from technical drawings for CNC machinery
• Testing CNC programmes against 2D engineering drawings
• Completing quotations for customers on required work and scheduling lead times
• Liaising with the sales team to advise on lead times
• Creating production schedules for CNC machinery
• Providing and checking on progress updates

• Based in a commutable distance of Newmarket
• Experience with CAD or CAM software is desirable
• HNC or above in a Mechanical / Manufacturing subject
• Experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally metal fabrication

• Salary £24,000 - £34,000 - depending on experience
• Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00, permanent position
