Junior Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Summary

They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Mechanical Designer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in the design and development of mechanical systems and components, collaborating with senior engineers to create innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in mechanical design principles and be proficient in relevant software tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of mechanical components
• Create and interpret technical schematics and drawings, ensuring adherence to standards.
• Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot design issues and propose effective solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project specifications and requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of design changes, testing results, and project progress.

Requirements

• A recognised qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of engineering principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
