Junior Merchandiser – 12 Month FTC
High End and Luxury Interior Design
South West England
£30,000 - £35,000 + Benefits
As Junior Merchandiser for this beautiful interiors business you will support the buying team in planning for stock intake and sales to help the team in buying the right stock at the right time at the right price.
You will control and manage the intake of stock and assist other functions with stock related queries which include bespoke pricing and costings. You will ensure system data is maintained and updated as required and complete analysis and reports as required
Day to day accountabilities will include:
• Managing stock intake and chasing and checking all related documents for accuracy and completeness, tracking products through the critical path management.
• Monitoring stock levels and reporting real and potential requirements to relevant stakeholders.
• Placing orders and communicating with suppliers, updating the systems with delivery dates and relevant supplier information
• Ensure you maintain 96% and above availability rates.
• Chasing suppliers and service providers to ensure stock is received as scheduled and all critical deadlines can be met
•Supplier management, costings and pricing.
• produce weekly reports, highlight potential missed sales orders, delays, duplicates etc.
• Monitor critical path to ensure all intake dates are met
• Adhoc analysis as required by the Management team.
