Overview:

South Herts Financial Services are a small financial services company established in 1988, as a small firm customer service is our priority which is reflected by our current client bank being built up from existing client recommendations.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Paraplanner to join us. The ideal candidate will undertake administration, take client calls, prepare reports, prepare client reviews and to ensure that all client documentation is accurate and up to date. This role is perfect for an individual looking to develop their career in financial planning while working in a collaborative office environment.

Duties:

• Assist in the preparation of client reports and financial plans.
• Conduct research on investment products, market trends, and regulatory changes.
• Maintain and organise client files, ensuring all documentation is compliant with industry standards.
• Utilise Microsoft Excel and Word to create spreadsheets, presentations, and detailed reports.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to gather necessary information for financial planning.
• Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines for report submissions and client meetings.
• Support with administrative tasks as required, including managing Outlook calendars.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and client interactions.
• A foundational understanding of financial planning principles is desirable.
• Previous experience in an office environment or within the financial services sector.
• A keen interest in pursuing a career in financial planning or paraplanning.
