Junior Project Manager

Role Summary:

Our client is a highly successful Company, fast becoming one of the market leaders within their field, due to their superb customer service. As a result of continued growth over the last 3 years, they are looking to add to their Project Management team, by recruiting Junior Project Managers. These are customer focused roles involved with the management of end to end projects within the energy sector. These are key recruits for the team and our client offers a defined career path for you to progress within the 1st 12 months within the role, with study being offered for PRINCE qualifications as part of your development.

What will be involved day to day:

• You will work with the Project Managers to learn, understand and act on a variety of energy related projects, supporting on the full end to end process
• You will be a key point of contact for customers through the project life cycle, dealing with queries, providing detailed answers to questions and keeping customers' fully updated with timescales and possible changes
• Ensuring any possible obstacles within your projects are managed and resolved to ensure you are on target with your work
• Communicating with other departments internally and contractors externally
• Keeping internal systems updated, effectively managing spreadsheets and supporting with quotes
• Tracking the order process online to ensure supply is processed accurately

What we are looking for:

• Most importantly, we are looking for drive, initiative and a real desire to work within a progressive business
• A strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail and a strong team player
• Experience gained within a similar customer focused, project led role would be ideal but is not essential - the right approach and skills that align with this role are more important
• Able to deal with objections and push back when required
• Tech savvy with strong IT skills and good knowledge of Excel
• Target focused, used to working to deadlines within your role
• The ability to multi task is important, prioritising your work
• A positive approach to work and highly organised
