VIQU have partnered with a prestigious law firm that are seeking a Junior Project Manager to oversee project coordination, manage interdependencies, and proactively identify and address risks and issues.

Key Responsibilities of the Junior Project Manager:

• Support the delivery of change projects in line with established project management frameworks and timelines.
• Assist in identifying potential challenges and risks, escalating issues where appropriate and supporting dependency tracking across teams or regions.
• Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and resource coordination under the guidance of senior team members.
• Support the management of stakeholder and supplier relationships by facilitating communication, following up on actions, and helping resolve issues.
• Ensure timely and accurate project communication, including preparing progress updates, meeting notes, and reporting materials.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, assist in tracking budgets, risks, and performance indicators to support successful project outcomes.
• Participate in initiatives to improve project management practices and contribute ideas for process improvement.
• Learn from and support senior colleagues, receiving mentoring while gradually developing project delivery and coordination skills.

Key Requirements of the Junior Project Manager:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in project management role.
• Background in the legal or financial sectors, with experience working in regulatory and compliance change.
• Experience in contributing to the delivery of technology and business system projects; familiarity with Legal Tech is a plus.
• Strong leadership, organisation, and stakeholder management skills, with Board-level negotiation experience.
• Analytical mindset
• Knowledge of ISO 27001 in project delivery (desired)
