Junior Project Manager / Coordinator

Elevation are supporting an innovative and growing engineering company who are looking for a proactive and organised Project Coordinator to support their cutting-edge work in advanced mechanical systems. You'll play a key role in helping to deliver technical engineering projects across design and production teams.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience supporting projects in engineering or manufacturing, who is confident working with multiple teams and keen to develop their career in a high-tech environment. Full training will be provided, and you'll work closely with experienced project managers and technical experts.

What You'll Be Doing as the Project Manager / Coordinator:

• Supporting the delivery of multiple engineering projects from initiation to completion

• Creating and updating project plans, task logs and reports

• Helping track project progress, timelines, and budgets

• Communicating regularly with internal teams and stakeholders

• Supporting with risk management (including FMEAs and risk registers)

• Helping prepare funding applications and customer documentation

• Assisting with resource planning and change tracking

• Contributing to a positive team environment across production and design

What We're Looking For:

• Some experience in project coordination or involvement in technical projects (e.g. NPI, manufacturing, engineering R&D, etc.)

• Confident communicator – able to liaise with teams and stakeholders clearly

• Organised and methodical approach with a good eye for detail

• Problem-solver with a flexible, proactive mindset

• Experience with Gantt charts, MS Project or similar (desirable)

• Background in mechanical or electromechanical systems (desirable, but not essential)
