Junior Quality Engineer

We are looking for a Junior Quality Engineer to join a specialist manufacturer based in Peterlee. In this role, you will help improve shop-floor standards and the Quality Management System (QMS) through continuous improvement initiatives.

You will oversee goods-in and final inspections, as well as review supplier documentation to ensure consistently high standards. You will also work closely with Production, Engineering and New Product Development teams to maintain and improve product quality throughout the entire product lifecycle.
 
Requirements:

HNC/HND in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or similar) or equivalent experience.
Certified ISO 9001 (or similar) Internal Auditor.
Strong understanding of compliance, legislative requirements, and technical standards within a manufacturing environment
Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
