Junior Quality Inspector

We are looking for a motivated and detail-focused Junior Quality Inspector to join a busy manufacturing environment.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within Quality and Manufacturing. You may already have some experience within quality, inspection, engineering or manufacturing, or you may have recently completed an engineering/technical qualification and be looking for your next step.

Working as part of the Quality team, you will be responsible for inspecting incoming components and materials, carrying out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process and ensuring products meet the required specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect and test products and materials against specifications and quality standards

*

Carry out dimensional measurements and basic functionality checks

*

Identify and contain materials that do not meet quality requirements

*

Accurately record inspection results and maintain quality documentation

*

Use and maintain inspection gauges and measuring equipment

*

Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

*

Support internal and external quality audits when required

*

Work closely with production and quality colleagues to help maintain high standards

What We're Looking For

Some ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications

*

Good mathematical and technical skills

*

An understanding of measuring components and comparing results against specifications

*

Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work

*

Good communication skills and the confidence to work with colleagues at all levels

*

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

*

A willingness to learn and develop within a Quality environment

Previous experience within quality inspection, manufacturing or engineering would be beneficial, but we are also interested in candidates with a relevant engineering or technical background who are looking to build a career within Quality.
