Location: Commutable to Chelmsford (typically 3-4 days per week)

Remuneration: £35,000neg + Discretionary bonus scheme

The role of Quantity Surveyor – Partitions & Ceilings will involve:

* Quantity Surveyor position dealing with a range of commercial & residential ceiling and partitioning projects

* Monitor project costs throughout, ensuring they remain in line with agreed budgets and identifying any commercial risks or variations

* Prepare cost estimates, budgets, quotations, and tender submissions including labour, materials, prelims, and programme considerations

* Liaising with Site / Contract Managers to ensure each project is successfully running.

* Updating any changes to the agreed contract scope

* Building strong working relationships with clients and subcontractors

* Working on multiple projects at one time, varying in size from £500k to £5m

The ideal applicant will be a Quantity Surveyor – Partitions & Ceilings with:

* Must have Quantity Surveying or Assistant Quantity Surveying experience within ceilings, partitions, walls, doors or closely related

* Highly advantageous to have experience working across fit-out, data centre, refurbishment, heritage, retail, residential or commercial projects

* Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs

* Highly organised with good attention to detail

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbally

* Computer literate (Microsoft Office)

* Full UK driving license
