Junior Sales Executive

I am excited to be representing my client, a market leader in their field, as they look to recruit a Junior Sales Executive on a full-time permanent basis based in Altrincham.

Main Function of the Position

My client is seeking a dynamic and motivated Junior Sales Executive at the beginning of their career with a keen interest in the Insurance sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience and, with study support, gain relevant qualifications in this field. You will be working alongside a highly experienced team focusing on developing sales opportunities, fostering strong client relationships, and contributing to business success.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities, generating and following up on sales leads.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Prepare and present compelling sales proposals and presentations.
• Negotiate contracts and successfully close deals.
• Provide excellent customer service and support.
• Collaborate closely with the underwriting team to ensure smooth processing of applications.
• Contribute to sales strategy development and implementation.

Person Specification

• Proven sales experience will be an advantage, ideally within the general insurance or construction industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated and results driven.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
