Job Description

Mekhann was established in 2012 to bring a contemporary outlook to a tradition of textile craft spanning two millennia. Uniting hand craft with modern design, we endeavor to produce the finest hand-embroidered, natural dyed, silk textiles. Our work explores the history and culture of the embroidery and the plant dye craft; drawing inspiration from diverse sources, we combine traditional design references with modern artistic sensibilities, whilst staying true to the finest, historic hand-craftsman.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Social Media Manager to join our team at Mekhann. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media and content strategy that promotes our brand, engages our audience, and drives business growth, developing and executing a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that generates leads, increases brand awareness, and drives business growth.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that promotes the Mekhann brand, engages our audience, and drives business growth.
Create and curate top-level content for our brand, showcasing our art, textiles, antiques, interiors, and luxury items to captivate our audience.
Plan, create, and schedule email marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition and retention.
Develop and execute social media marketing campaigns to generate leads, increase brand awareness, and drive business growth.
Lead the development and implementation of brand strategy across all channels, ensuring brand consistency across all communication touchpoints.
Design and oversee the production of branded publication items such as catalogs, brochures, and other collateral.
Create content for both web and traditional channels that meets the needs of different audiences and drives interest in our brand.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
2-3 years of experience in social media management with a proven track record of creating high-quality content that drives engagement and growth.
Experience in developing and executing social media campaigns to generate leads and increase brand awareness.
Experience in designing branded materials for digital and print channels.
Strong writing and communication skills with the ability to create clear and concise messaging.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure and report on campaign performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
Knowledge of social media platforms and their best practices, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
Creative flair with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects at once.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where flexibility and adaptability are key.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for art, textiles, antiques, interiors, and luxury, with a keen eye for detail and a creative flair. You should be confident in developing and executing digital marketing campaigns, have experience in designing branded materials for digital and print channels, and at least 3-5 years of experience in social media management with a proven track record of creating high-quality content that drives engagement and growth. You should also have strong writing and communication skills with the ability to create clear and concise messaging, as well as strong analytical skills with the ability to measure and report on campaign performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
