Software Developer
Site based Monday to Friday – Shipley, West Yorkshire
Salary up to £33,500 + benefits

Elevation IT are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Software Developer to join our client’s site-based team in Shipley. As part of a dynamic environment, you will be responsible for system configuration, development, and maintenance across various functions of the company. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide project resource for system configuration and software development across all company functions.
• Offer technical support and training to users of company systems, ensuring smooth operations.
• Continuously evaluate business requirements and identify opportunities for new software or system upgrades.
• Develop and present business cases for system expenditures and upgrades.
• Define hardware specifications in collaboration with the IT department.
• Assist in the maintenance of servers and other hardware systems.
• Contribute to the upgrade and maintenance of core business systems.

Skill & Experience:

• Proficiency in software and database development, adhering to industry standards.
• Strong understanding of underlying system architectures and the ability to work in a multi-functional team environment.
• Proficiency in C# .NET.
• Experience with SQL (MySQL/MSSQL).
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript.

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with React or other front-end frameworks.
• Experience with Version Control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Database management skills.
• Exposure to CAD Systems is an advantage.
