Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 + Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Software Developer to join an established organisation as part of a growing Technology team. You will be working alongside experienced developers and technology professionals, you’ll gain hands-on experience across software development, cloud technologies, APIs, system integration and application support. The organisation is currently progressing from several established legacy systems towards a more modern, cloud-based technology environment, providing an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to both existing and emerging technologies.

Skills & Experience

Completed a software development apprenticeship/degree, or equivalent practical experience.
A good understanding of software development principles and programming concepts.
Experience with C#, .NET or another modern programming language.
Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.
An understanding of APIs, integrations and how different systems communicate.
Experience using source control, ideally Git.
A genuine interest in software development and a strong desire to continue learning and developing professionally.Desirable Skills

Exposure to REST APIs, Microsoft Azure or CI/CD.
Experience with VB.NET, Windows Forms or legacy Microsoft applications.
Knowledge or exposure to retail, ecommerce or business systems.
Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Dynamics 365 Business Central.
An understanding of cloud technologies, system integration or automated deployment processes.The successful candidate will benefit from working alongside experienced technology professionals within a supportive environment, with opportunities to broaden their technical knowledge across software development, cloud technologies, integrations, APIs and business-critical applications.
