Junior Supplier Quality Engineer

Portfolio Procurement has been engaged to recruit a Junior Supplier Quality Engineer for a leading manufacturing business based in Kent.

The Role:

• Deliver the development, implementation and management of the companies Supplier Assessment Process
• Conduct on-site supplier audits processes to ensure suppliers are approved and continue to meet the on-going requirements
• Carry out inspection & testing of products to ensure they meet quality expectations.

Experience:

• Technical or engineering qualification: Degree, HNC or equivalent
• 6-12 months experience in a similar position
• Experience of Supplier Assessment and Supplier Audit processes
• Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
• Competent in key MS software particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
