This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, ATT qualified Junior Tax Adviser who is looking to join a dynamic tax department and continue to build on your career.

The tax team sit beside our wealth management team providing a pro-active, holistic, and bespoke service to our clients.

Candidate Skills
You will be ATT Qualified with a minimum of 1/2 years previous experience in an advisory capacity in a tax/accountancy firm managing own portfolio of clients
Experience in dealing with a wide range of personal tax planning and managing or supporting your portfolio of clients
Strong technical tax ability with the ability to clearly explain complex tax issues to colleagues and clients with experience in ownership and management of your workflow
Must be confident in consulting with clients.

Duties
You will support a portfolio of personal tax clients, dealing with all areas of tax compliance and tax planning.
Researching, analysing, and interpreting changing tax legislation in the UK
Meeting with clients and collating information
Working with tax law and revenue provisions and preparing and submitting individual returns by the deadline
Liaising and negotiating with HMRC on behalf of the client and creating tax strategies for personal clients and planning their financial futures
Conduct detailed computations to calculate tax liability and advising on how to minimise a client's liability
Able to collaborate with the Financial Adviser to build tax-efficient investment strategies for clients
Ability to establish and structure trusts, estate planning and advising on tax residence and domicile matters
Able to advise on and implement remuneration strategies, tax-efficient share and option schemes and exit strategies
Produce reports and presentations for clients and review the work of other members of the team
