Location: Felixstowe
Salary: Up to £30,000, depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Junior Transport Planner to join a leading global logistics business based in Felixstowe. This is a fantastic role for someone looking to develop their career within transport planning, working as part of a supportive and experienced team.

As Junior Transport Planner, you will assist with the day-to-day planning and coordination of transport operations, helping to ensure the efficient movement of goods while maintaining excellent service levels for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with planning and coordinating daily transport movements

Support the wider transport team with route planning and vehicle scheduling

Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal departments

Monitor deliveries and resolve any operational issues where possible

Update internal systems with accurate transport and delivery information

Help ensure compliance with company procedures and transport regulations

Provide general administrative support to the transport operation

Requirements:

Previous experience in transport, logistics, shipping, or freight would be advantageous

Strong organisational and communication skills

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Good attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Office

A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Based within a commutable distance of Felixstowe
