As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Junior Underwriter to join our team and play a key role in supporting our underwriting function.

Role Overview
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with early-stage experience in insurance or a graduate with a keen interest in underwriting. You will work closely with senior underwriters, assisting in the day-to-day underwriting process, analysing risks, and liaising with brokers to develop a strong commercial understanding of the market.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in the assessment and evaluation of new and renewal property risks

Support underwriters in pricing, quoting, and binding business

Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients

Ensure accurate and timely data entry and documentation

Liaise with internal stakeholders including compliance, claims, and finance

Monitor market developments and contribute to portfolio analysis

Work on internal projects as needed, supporting business growth

About You
Excellent analytical and numeracy skills

Clear written and verbal communication skills

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment

Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic

Team player, willing to take initiative and learn on the job

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to pick up new systems quickly

Previous experience in insurance or underwriting is welcomed but not essential
