JUNIOR VEHICLE BUILD TECHNICIANWant to build and restore classic vehicles rather than work on the same cars every day?

A growing specialist automotive business is looking for a Junior Vehicle Build Technician to join its workshop team.

You’ll work on bespoke classic 4x4 vehicles, taking them from donor condition through to finished build.

THE ROLEAs a Junior Vehicle Build Technician, you’ll work alongside experienced technicians and develop your practical mechanical skills.

You’ll be involved in:

Stripping donor vehicles

Cleaning and assessing components

Chassis, suspension & drivetrain builds

Bodywork assembly

Fitting wiring looms, trim & lighting

Fitting mechanical and galvanised components

Keeping build records updated

Maintaining a clean, organised workshop

Occasional driving to suppliers and other facilities

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FORThe ideal Junior Vehicle Build Technician will be:

Practical and mechanically minded

Genuinely interested in vehicles

Keen to learn and develop

Reliable and hardworking

Methodical with good attention to detail

Proud of their workmanship

A good team player

Previous experience with classic vehicles is not essential.

Practical experience from work, college, an apprenticeship or personal projects is all relevant.

Welding/fabrication experience or an automotive qualification would be beneficial but is not essential.

Full UK driving licence required.
