The Role

We’re on the hunt for a passionate Junior Video Creator who lives and breathes short-form content, and video editing. This role is perfect for someone who loves creating engaging short form content, and has a knack for turning raw footage into captivating edits for delivery to multiple platforms. If you are a creative who wants to make an impact in the health and fitness industry, and can capture the audience’s attention in seconds, we want you on our team.

Responsibilities:

Short-Form Content Creation:

Produce high-quality, engaging, and informative short-form video content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, as well as content optimised for digital advertising. Content will be fast turnaround, and should be aligned with our brand identity, ethos, and the interests of our target audience.

Video Editing:

Alongside your ability to create high-quality short form content, you will also have the opportunity to work on and edit large brand pieces, including content for product launches and specific brand films.

Trends:

Stay ahead of social media trends, including viral challenges, hashtags, and content formats, adapting our strategy to leverage these trends effectively – anything that the brand can utilise to expand our reach and connection to our community.

Collaboration:

Work closely with Head of Visual and the wider creative and marketing team to develop creative ideas and campaigns that promote our products and brand ethos.

Larger Projects:

When required, work with the Head of Visual on larger brand projects, including generating content for new product launches, seasonal campaigns, major brand initiatives, and longer form YouTube content.

Requirements:

Experience in creating captivating and dynamic short-form video content.
·

Understanding of social media platforms, particularly TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, with knowledge of best practices for content creation and engagement.

Excellent storytelling skills, with the ability to convey messages creatively and succinctly.
·

Confidence to work independently, showcasing good initiative and decision-making skills. Motivated to take on tasks proactively and demonstrate the ability to achieve briefs and targets without constant direct supervision.

Contribute creatively to the brand. Bring fresh innovative ideas to the table and collaborating with the marketing and creative teams.
·

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
·

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing trends and requirements.
·

You have a solid foundation in camera and lighting techniques, with a keen enthusiasm for continuous learning and skill enhancement in these areas.
·

Competent editing skills, preferably with a high proficiency in Premiere Pro.
·

Located close to, or with convenient access to, our Cardiff Studio, so you’re positioned to seamlessly collaborate with our creative team and participate in on-site projects and utilise our studio facilities.

Experience in or a passion for the health and fitness industry would be beneficial, but not essential.
