Junior/Trainee Contracts Manager

Reymas Group are recruiting for a Junior Contracts Manager on behalf of a Merseyside-based roofing contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality workmanship. With a solid pipeline of work across the North West, they’re now looking to strengthen their delivery team by hiring a Junior Contracts Manager.

Location: Covering Merseyside, Lancashire, Cheshire, North Wales, and occasionally the North Midlands
Salary: Negotiable (DOE) + Company Vehicle + Private Medical + Pension + Bonus + Travel Expenses

This is a progression role—ideal for someone currently managing roofing projects on-site (e.g. Site Manager or Site Supervisor) who’s ready to take the next step into contract and project oversight at a regional level.

The Role
You’ll support and report to the Senior Contracts Manager, helping manage the delivery of multiple roofing projects. You’ll split your time between site visits and office-based coordination, ensuring projects run safely, on time, and within budget.
This role requires someone with hands-on site experience who is comfortable taking responsibility for project execution, client communication, and coordination of labour and materials.
Key Responsibilities

• Set up and manage multiple roofing sites across the North West
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance
• Brief operatives and subcontractors on H&S and project scope before works begin
• Maintain site records and project documentation (H&S, RAMS, progress reports)
• Coordinate plant, materials, labour, and subcontractors
• Liaise with clients, surveyors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery
• Support with snagging, remedial works, and handovers
• Ensure all works align with ISO9001, ISO14001, and other compliance requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience running roofing projects on-site (as Site Manager, Foreman or Supervisor)
• Good working knowledge of flat roofing systems (e.g. felt, single ply, liquid)
• Strong understanding of H&S regulations and site protocols
• Well organised with good attention to detail
• Capable of managing labour, materials, and deadlines
• Confident communicator, comfortable dealing with clients and subcontractors
• Competent with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
