Job Description - Key Account Executive

Job Title: Key Account Executive
Location: Finchampstead (Office based)
Salary: Up to £30,000

We're seeking a driven and resourceful Key Account Executive to join our rapidly growing client, in this role you will strengthen client relationships while maximising cross-selling opportunities.

As Key Account Executive, your goal is to nurture existing client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and ensure customers receive seamless, value-driven support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, understanding their business needs and delivering prompt, efficient support.
  • Identify, initiate, and secure cross-selling opportunities across funding and material sales to drive revenue growth.
  • Provide clients with expert support by coordinating with relevant teams and offering guidance on products and funding options.
  • Collaborate closely with Energy Services and Material Sales teams to craft joint proposals addressing comprehensive customer needs.
  • Track and report account performance using CRM tools; prepare regular updates for senior management and contribute to forecasts and strategic planning.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Minimum 2 years' proven experience in account management, sales, or a related field-preferably within insulation, construction, or sustainability sectors.
  • Strong ability to build trust-based client relationships and collaborate internally.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Analytical skills to identify trends and deliver actionable insights.
  • Proactive problem-solving and solution-oriented approach.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • Adaptable, resilient, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
