Are you an experienced Fire & Security sales professional looking to join a growing organisation where you can genuinely influence business growth and be rewarded for your success?
We are recruiting for a Key Account Manager on behalf of a well-established Fire & Security business delivering Fire Detection, Security, Gas Suppression and Life Safety solutions across the UK.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially focused individual who thrives on building relationships, developing new business opportunities and growing key accounts within the Facilities Management and end-user markets.
The Role As Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving maintenance and service contract growth across both existing and new clients. Working closely with operational and bid teams, you will develop strategic relationships, secure new opportunities and maximise revenue across the company's full range of Fire & Security solutions.
You will be a trusted advisor to clients, identifying opportunities to improve compliance, service delivery and asset protection whilst helping customers achieve their fire and security objectives.
Key Responsibilities Develop and manage a pipeline of new maintenance and service opportunities.
Grow existing customer accounts through upselling and cross-selling activities.
Build strong relationships with Facilities Management companies, consultants and end users.
Secure new business opportunities through networking, referrals and market intelligence.
Attend client meetings, presentations and review meetings.
Lead commercial discussions, proposals and contract negotiations.
Support tender submissions and framework opportunities.
Conduct site surveys and identify opportunities for additional services.
Work closely with service and operational teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
Achieve agreed sales targets and growth objectives.
What We're Looking For Proven experience within the Fire & Security industry.
Background in Key Account Management, Business Development or Technical Sales.
Strong understanding of maintenance and service contracts.
Experience selling Fire Alarm, Security, Access Control, CCTV or Life Safety solutions.
Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and decision makers.
Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated with a strong commercial mindset.
Full UK Driving Licence.
