Key Stage 1 Teacher

Teaching Tomorrow, on behalf of a supportive and welcoming primary school in Dunstable, is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic teachers to join their team and inspire their Reception pupils from September 2025. The ideal candidate is someone who can create engaging and stimulating learning experiences, and a nurturing environment for each child.

The school are looking for a reception teacher on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
• Foster a positive learning environment through effective behaviour management techniques.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support their development.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to enhance student learning experiences.
• Utilize strong communication skills to address the diverse needs of students.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong and successful reception/ Key Stage 1 teaching experience
• Must be available 5 days a week
• Comfortable covering lessons across the national UK curriculum
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students
