An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed KS1 Supply Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in South Ockendon from September 2026. This role would suit a passionate primary practitioner who can deliver engaging lessons, create a positive learning environment, and support pupils in achieving their full potential. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality teaching across Key Stage 1, maintaining excellent classroom management, and working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for pupils. Key Responsibilities * Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the National Curriculum. * Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners. * Assess, monitor and record pupil progress. * Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils. * Promote high standards of behaviour and classroom management. * Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff members. * Contribute positively to the wider life of the school. * Uphold safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times. The Successful Candidate Will Have * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). * Experience teaching within Key Stage 1. * Strong classroom and behaviour management skills. * Excellent communication and organisational abilities. * A commitment to raising standards and improving outcomes for pupils. * The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues. * A thorough understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.
