Role Highlights

• Provide one-on-one and group instruction, creating a personalized approach to help students with varying abilities build foundational skills across academic, social, and emotional domains


• Collaborate with SEN support staff and specialists to design lesson plans that accommodate individual learning styles and foster positive engagement and progress


• Build a nurturing classroom atmosphere where students feel motivated, respected, and encouraged to participate and explore


• Access to ongoing professional development and training focused on SEN teaching techniques, equipping you with strategies to support diverse needs effectively


• Monitor and document student progress, working closely with parents, support staff, and SEN professionals to ensure cohesive support aligned with each child’s development goals

Experience & Qualifications

• 
  Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in KS1 teaching; prior experience or exposure to SEN environments is beneficial


• A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to teaching, with the ability to inspire a love for learning in young students with unique challenges


• Strong communication skills for building supportive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents, contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented school environment


• A passion for inclusive education, with a commitment to creating engaging, accessible learning opportunities that promote personal and academic growth


• A current and clear Enhanced DBS check is required to ensure the safety and well-being of all students
