We are looking for an experienced Cafe Assistant for Hut 1 to join the team at Bletchley Park for the summer.

We Offer:

Rate: £12.21 per hour

Shifts: 5 days out of 7 including Weekends and Bank Holidays (10:30 - 16:30)

Contract: Full time/Temporary till end of September

About the Cafe Assistant role:

• Make sure the unit is fully stocked and ready for customers
• Operating the till, and handling card and cash payments
• Ensuring the customers have a pleasant experience at all times
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness 
• Informing patrons about menu items
• Taking orders and accurately entering them into the ordering system
• Operating filter coffee machine, ice cream machine and other equipment
• Ensure correct storage of food and stock rotation: eg. checking ‘use by dates’
• Ensuring that food safety standards are followed at all times
• Maintain Health and Safety Standards

Experience isn’t essential, as full training will be provided. However, a smile, dedication to exceeding customer expectations, and being a great team player are essential.
