Kitchen Assistant

Our client, a prestigious catering company near Woking, Surrey is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join their exceptional catering team on a permanent term time contract.

As the Kitchen Assistant you will be working Monday to Friday 11am-3pm, so it offers a great work life balance.

Hours:
-20 hours per week
-Monday to Friday 11am-3pm
-Permanent term time contract

Job role:
As the Kitchen Assistant you will assist in the smooth and efficient running of this busy kitchen.

Your main responsibilities will include:

-Assisting chefs with basic food preparation (e.g. chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, plating dishes)
-Keeping all kitchen areas clean, hygienic, and organised at all times
-Washing up including using a dishwasher
- Putting away deliveries and rotating stock
-Emptying bins, cleaning floors, and keeping area clean and hygienic
-Adhering to all food safety and health regulations

-Proven ability to work as a team
