Kitchen Assistant

Talent-UK are recruiting for a client based in Wakefield who are looking for Kitchen Assistants, on a full time temp to Perm basis, this will be based in a canteen/kitchen based environment not retail environment
The role will be working 40hrs per week, 9 hours per day with 1 hour unpaid lunch, shifts will be worked any times between 8am and 8pm, either 8am - 5pm or 11am - 8pm, working in shift patterns which include evenings, weekends both Saturdays and Sundays on a rota

The company will put you through food hygiene certificate if you don't have it already

Duties are to include -

• Food Service - serving service users breakfast, lunch and evening meals from a set prepared menu
• Pot Washing/cleaning duties
• Prepping salads and sandwiches
• Assisting with other duties in kitchen as and when required

The role requires Basic spoken English and the ability to read and write in English, also basic kitchen/food environment experience also needed, including catering or retail/fast food environment etc
Excellent communication and teamworking skills, including reliability and the ability to work the hours advertised including weekends.
