Bamford Contract Services are recruiting an experienced Kitchen Fitter for ongoing social housing projects across Sheffield and the surrounding areas.

This role is strictly for skilled and experienced kitchen fitters with proven installation experience. You will be working in occupied social housing properties, so a professional approach and good communication skills are essential.

Kitchen Fitter Price Work Rates

£220 per kitchen – up to 8 units
£240 per kitchen – up to 10 units
£260 per kitchen – up to 14 units
Kitchen Fitter Duties & Responsibilities

Full kitchen removals and installations
Fitting kitchen units, doors, worktops and associated components
First and second fix joinery
General joinery repairs and maintenance
Door hanging and adjustments
Fitting skirting boards, architraves and other joinery works
Making good and completing associated remedial works
Working within occupied social housing properties
Completing work to a high standard and within agreed timescales
Liaising professionally with tenants, site teams and management
Kitchen Fitter Requirements

Proven experience as a Kitchen Fitter
Experience with full kitchen installations and replacements
Own tools and reliable transport essential
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Social housing experience preferred
Asbestos Awareness
Manual Handling
Working at Heights
Willingness to undertake a face-fit test
Candidates must be prepared to be clean shaven for the face-fit test
CIS registered or able to work under CIS
Professional attitude and good communication skills
