Kitchen Supervisor

Shark Club UK is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our dynamic team. As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operations of our kitchen and providing exceptional dining experiences to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.

- Oversee the preparation and cooking of food according to standardized recipes and portion controls.

- Ensure the quality, consistency, and presentation of all dishes leaving the kitchen.

- Monitor food inventory and place orders as needed to maintain stock levels.

- Collaborate with management to create new menu items and specials, taking into consideration seasonal availability and customer feedback.

- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

- Perform regular inspections and maintenance checks on kitchen equipment.

- Efficiently manage food costs by minimizing waste, monitoring portion sizes, and controlling inventory.

- Lead by example in upholding high levels of customer service and professionalism among the kitchen team.

Qualifications:

- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations.

- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance.

- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- A passion for food and a dedication to providing exceptional customer service.

- Valid food handler's certificate.
