Kitchen & Bathroom Fitter – North CornwallPermanent £36,000–£38,000 per year Bodmin to Bude

Build Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Kitchen & Bathroom Fitter to join a busy and highly regarded maintenance contractor on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will work across North Cornwall, covering the Bodmin to Bude area, carrying out planned maintenance and refurbishment works within social housing properties.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Kitchen & Bathroom Fitter looking for long-term, permanent employment with a well-established contractor.

The RoleYou will be responsible for carrying out a range of kitchen and bathroom fitting and refurbishment works within occupied and void social housing properties.

Duties will include:

Full kitchen installations, including rip-outs and reinstalls

Fitting kitchen units, worktops and associated fixtures

Bathroom fitting and refurbishment

Tiling and flooring

General carpentry and associated finishing works

Carrying out repairs and maintenance to kitchens and bathrooms

Working alongside other trades including electricians and labourers

Travelling to various properties across North Cornwall

Liaising professionally with customers when required

Reporting progress and any issues to the Supervisor

Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard

Requirements
Extensive experience as a Kitchen Fitter, Bathroom Fitter or Multi-Skilled Fitter

Strong experience with kitchen and bathroom installations

Good knowledge of refurbishment and maintenance works

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Good attitude and professional approach

Honest, reliable and punctual

Full UK driving licence

Good communication and customer service skills

A DBS check will be required for the successful candidate.
